These Terms govern your use of the Community Bible Church of Northern Westchester (“CBC”) mobile app and website at cbcnw.org. By using them, you agree to these Terms.

Using our services

Our app and website are provided to support the life and ministry of our church. You agree to use them lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or to other users’ accounts.

Accounts

• Eligibility and accuracy. Some areas require an account, which may be granted by invitation or approval. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

• Security. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

• Sign-in providers. If you sign in with Apple or Google, your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms.

Giving and donations

Gifts made through the app are voluntary charitable donations, processed securely by Stripe. Unless required by law, donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a gift was made in error, contact us promptly and we will work with you in good faith. We will provide contribution records as appropriate for your tax purposes.

Store purchases

Prices and availability for items in our store may change. Payment is processed by Stripe. For questions about an order, fulfillment, exchanges, or refunds, please contact us using the details below, and we will do our best to make it right.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we may send service messages and time-sensitive alerts. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

Your content and conduct

If you submit information through the app or website (such as a request or a message), you are responsible for it and confirm you have the right to share it. Please be respectful of others and do not submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

Intellectual property

The app, the website, and their content — including text, graphics, logos, and sermons — are owned by CBC or our licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use within our community. Please do not copy, redistribute, or use them for other purposes without permission.

Third-party services

Our services rely on third parties such as Stripe, Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and Railway, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimers

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CBC and its leaders, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

We may suspend or end access to the services, or to any account, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or to protect our community. You may stop using the services and request account deletion at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
